Unlike many expert predictions about the Canadiens' chances this season, The Gazette's Pat Hickey expects the team to make the postseason. But, like anything in life, there's a catch. Read all about it here.
According to The Hockey News, the Montreal Canadiens will miss the playoffs again this season, finishing 13th in the Eastern Conference. Only the Bruins and Islanders are predicted to do worse.
The magazine also gives the Canadiens a grade of D. The only teams to get worse marks are the Oilers, Blue Jackets and Coyotes.
The Hockey News also predicts that the Senators, Rangers and Hurricanes will grab the conference's top three spots at the end of the 2007-08 season.
