Playoff Pool: Conference Finals Update

After two rounds, m00ks and dysonsphere are tied for the lead with 180 points. m00ks, however, has the advantage with 9 players still active, while dysonsphere has only 6 active players remaining.
Eight fantasy teams have been officially eliminated from the pool and four others are hanging on by a thread, with only 1 or 2 players still competing for the Stanley Cup.

18 fantasy teams have 9 players that are still active. Anyone with sleeper picks from either Dallas or Philadelphia has a great opportunity to move up in the standings.

The loss of the Sharks and Habs hurt me pretty bad (especially considering I had choosen Nabokov and Price), but I think I have enough Detroit and Pens players to hold on for a little while.
7th isn't that bad, but I was top 5 last week :(.

Hi BB... congrats! I'll have to check where I am at.. All I have left are Pens and Wings so I'm hoping they will get mucho points.

We might get done in by Taxman and Mrs Stewart who have 13 players left each. Our hope is a short series in each Conference.

Lafrich - I've already been through this "Franzen" selection with Robert before. I feel he needs to produce a urine sample. Cause you had to be on drugs to select that guy (out of 12 forwards) before the playoffs started! Where is Jose Canseco when you need him:-)?

24 Cups, if you had known he scored 17 goals in his last 22 games you would have jumped on him too! I'm not the only one who selected him in this pool, but if I was, I'd be happy to drop a few drips in your test tube!
Robert L: Are you a financial forecaster by any chance? Because I would like to give you my portfolio to handle...
I just looked it up, and he scored 15 goals and 5 assists in the last 16 games before the playoffs.
Nevertheless, I am still really impressed with the pick, because unless you actually follow the Wings, or watch the stats, I would look at the 38 points on the season, and NEVER pick him.
He has 84 points in 221 career games, and only 10 points in 24 career playoff games before this season!
I'm a closet Wings fan....my number 2 team! In Datsyuk's rookie year he had 35 points, so Detroit brings these guys along without rushing them and with little pressure. I don't follow a lot of teams, but I read the game summaries everyday. That's how I knew Franzen was hot.
Trust me, you really wouldn't want me handling your portfolio. We'd end up broke and behind bars!

Surprised I am even listed. My team was mostly habs and sharks. I only have 6 players left, wings and pens.

Damn, I suck, but at least I'm not alone. holy moly, how many people DID play?
Yeah I'm curious too to know how many participants were there.
I knew I shouldn't have gone with emotions.
7 Habs picks are my detriment.
I had 6 Habs, but I chose players from 4 teams that could not possibly play each other until now, as they were all division winners. There are do's and don't in pools, and one of them is to not pick with your heart. I didn't think I had, I felt the Habs would still be alive now.
You might have been able to make it while still losing 7 Canadiens here, depending on what else you chose.
I think/hope most of us are in the same boat, anyone who didn't fill up with Habs is the real loser. i had 8
