Kudos to Dave Stubbs for supplying us the audio faster than a speeding bullet!
Thanks Dave!
Play hard and hustle tonight boys. I have a feeling that Philly is going back to goon style hockey throughout the series. Let's cream cheese them once and for all on the scoreboard!
Let's avoid the penalty box, play with discipline as we have all year and let them sit in the box and pay the price with our PP clicking back again!
GO HABS GO!!!

Guillamme is latendressing tonight? Sweet!

Thank you Habs Prof for the synopsis of the audio - killing me to be here at work and by the time I get home, with 3 hour time difference, the first two periods are almost over. I am seeing lots of Habs flags flying on cars here in Vancouver area - even saw one on a courier's bike!
Thanks Dave and all HIO posters for keeping us in the loop - this site is my lifeline.

Nice to hear all the Habs support WetCoast :)

I just can't help but shake the feeling that the Flyers cannot hold a candle to our speed and skill. I think these first two games were a feeling out process.

I'm predicting, startin tonight, that the more dominant team will begin making strides in what will be the beginning of a one team race.

Bold, but beautiful! :)

GO HABS!!!

a few excerpts from the audio, for those who cannot listen:

CARB - "Nothing has happened since the start" - Carb in reference to Dandy..therefor the insert of Lats

"the league is going to stop it" - about the play getting out of hand after the whistle - (not sure I agree with this)

OBRYNE - expecting the most physical game of the series so far.

KOSTOP - Pivotal game and is not concerned about the goonery, in fact expects it.

KOVY - limit their chances, and he is not worried about the fans because he focuses on the ice, the game.

STREIT - thinks the league may call more penalties tonight and Habs need to be ready to take advantage of the PP - thinks the hate is normal and says it makes it more exciting to play in that atmosphere

HIGGS - Can't hear the fans...doesn't expect things to get out of hand because both teams can't afford to be a man short. Notes that alot of garbage is happening after the whistle.

GORGES - says both teams will do anything to win...says Kostop is the farthest thing from a Coward and will go anybody...says he punched a guy who was running his mouth.

Thank you very much Hab-Prof.

Glad to see you back.

Meaningless prediction that I hope comes true: Higgins scores at least two goals since his family will be in the stands. Hey, it works when they play in Long Island...

IMO Higgins is due. He's played really well and he's had lots of shots on goal. Tonight they won't be ringing off the post.

I'm hoping Latendresse comes up with one of those periodic games when he's all over the scoresheet, before he disappears back into the trenches.

Lats seems to play better after a stint in the PB. Hope that's the case tonight. He needs to rock a few of the Flyer's D and park himself in front of the net.

Thanks Dave! The audio and the photos (especially the practice ones) are very much appreciated.
