Man, I hope Game 3 does not go into triple ot or something long like that cause I got two final exams the next day and have to get up early!

It looks like the scheduling gods are rooting for the Sens. Habs play back to back games in different cities, while Ottawa has two two-day breaks during their series. (They won't be around for a Game 6, so the fact that it lies immediately following Game 5 is irrelevant.)
There may have been a scheduling conflict. The Boston Celtics have a home game on Wednesday (the 16th), so they couldn't skip Sunday in favour of playing Monday and Wednesday.

habs may have back to back while traveling but so does their opponent - look at it this way. if hte habs move on to round 2 they may have some extra rest time if their games are accelerated.
Oh my... Mr. Stubbs, you work too hard! That's an ungodly hour to be up! (We appreciate it very much)

I see no reason why the Habs can't defeat Boston, even without Koivu in their lineup. Also, there is always one playoff series that goes 7 games so the second round wouldn't start until April 23 or 24th. In which case, Koivu would have another 17 days to heal if need be. Koivu being on the shelf is also buffered somewhat by the fact that Savard may be a non starter at the beginning of the series.
The Original 24 Cups
About Dave Stubbs has been a sportswriter since 1976, which was roughly a decade after he wore the first of many holes through the knees of his jeans playing nets in road hockey (using a modified butterfly popularized by Hall of Famer Glenn Hall). He still has the welts to show on his shins from that rotten, frozen orange ball.
Stubbs kept thick hockey scrapbooks filled with game summaries and Gazette and Montreal Star stories, collected dozens of Bee Hive Corn Syrup photos and put a fortune of hockey cards through the spokes of his bikes. First book ever owned: Scrubs On Skates, the classic by Scott Young (Neil's dad).
Stubbs's fantasy is to travel back in time to the 1950s and watch the great Canadiens dynasty that won five consecutive Stanley Cups. Or a decade earlier, to watch Elmer Lach centre Rocket Richard and Toe Blake on the fearsome Punch Line. Or at least to get Rogie Vachon into the Hockey Hall of Fame – where he belongs.
