Photos: Part of Habs practice facility collapses

A large portion of a planned indoor soccer field at the Canadiens' state-of-the-art practice facility, under construction in Brossard on Montreal's South Shore, collapsed this afternoon shortly before 1:30 p.m.

There were no serious injuries, though two construction workers of the eight on the site were treated for shock. Television-helicopter images showed a large section of steel girders having crumpled.

The $30-million facility
is scheduled to open in time for the Canadiens training camp this coming September. See four photos below:
